Wedding #4 Mike & Kelly

This wedding was actually back in May............shows how neglected my work blog has been. It was for my cute sister in-law Kelly and her husband, Mike.

Because Mike and Kelly had two wedding receptions weeks apart and held in different locations they chose to do silk flowers instead of fresh. I have specifically been meaning to get these pictures up because I firmly believe that, given the right circumstances, silk flowers are equally as beautiful as fresh ones. Not to mention they are far more durable and longer lasting. :)

Kelly's cascading, tear-drop Bouquet features:
Hot pink Tiger Lilies, light pink Calla Lilies, soft pink and white Dendrobian Orchids, black Hypericum Berries, light pink Delphinium, hot pink and light green Hydranges, hot pink and white Tulips, in addition to a variety of tropical grasses and exotic greenery.

The Centerpieces consisted of:
Pink and white Tulips, medium pink Roses, soft pink and white Sweet Peas, light pink and white Alstromeria, Fern greenery, Tropical Grasses, and silver bow accents.

The whole Grouping of Centerpieces:

The Women's Corsages:
Hot pink miniture Peonies and green Hydrangea.

The Men's Boutonnieres:
Pink Alstromeria and white Tulips.

The miniature Rose Boutonnieres for the toddler nephews.

Our little family showing off the flowers.
I somehow managed to have enough flowers left over to make the nephews (ages 2 and under) some tiny Boutonnieres. Quincy wasn't too thrilled about sporting a tiny pink rose Boutonniere on his little tux, but everyone agreed he looked quite handsome.

Jakoby, who was only about 3 months, didn't seem to mind one bit about wearing his Boutonniere!

I still have one more wedding from August I need to get up..... So there will be more to come in the next few weeks!
